Started over 40 years ago, the Warren Flying Club was originally based at the old Warren Airport.

The WFC was founded to provide the average pilot with economical and reliable aircraft for the simple fun of flying. Through the years, the WFC has had several homes and several aircraft. 

Because of member diligence and focus on safety without over-burdensome rules, the WFC has never had a serious accident.  Because of this record, the WFC enjoys reasonable insurance rates. No other club in the Detroit metro area has such an outstanding record.
